GENERAL
MagPaint BlackboardPaint is a water-based paint for walls and blackboards made of wood or metal, or surfaces treated with MagPaint MagneticPaint.
You can write on MagPaint's BlackboardPaint with all the usual chalk types, except for oil-based chalk.
For indoor use only.
PRE-TREATMENT
The surface must be clean and dry and free of dust and grease. Wood may contain 17% moisture; but tropical woods should have a moisture content of 12% or less. Metal surfaces must be rust free. Old paint layers that are well adhered to the surface should be sanded thoroughly; loose and peeling paint must be carefully removed. The next step is to treat the surface with an appropriate primer. Untreated wood, iron, non-ferrous metals, plastics, etc. must be treated with an appropriate primer.
APPLICATION
Before using MagPaint BlackboardPaint, stir thoroughly. Next, apply one to two full layers of BlackboardPaint to the surface.
DRYING TIME
Dust dry after approx. 10 minutes. Can be painted over after approx. 12 hours.
Fully cured after approx. 24 hours.
